Anticheat needs to be disabled to run prerequisite mods. Score, NPCcore, and custom particle explosions modlets required as a prerequisite. So towards the end of an in-game week, you may find fewer hordes popping up until the blood moon passes (assuming it's enabled). I think A17 is only on 50% of what it should be for late game. The problem with the irradiated zombies is that they regenerate health, and if its already a high health zombie its going to make it very hard to kill with something as slow as a crossbow. So perception at 7-8 and boom headshot at 4 and aim for the head. Also "must have" perk is Boom Headshot 4/5 so you see some heads exploding on first shot.
